This site is amazing and explains it all. This is where I got the directions for this picture tutorial. Remember, you have to reset your template to Minima. Not Minima Lefty. Just Minima.

It's not allowing the full code to post from screen shot 5, so you will need to either type it in EXACTLY or click here and search for 'Blog Posts in the Center'. The red code is what you will need to copy and paste.

I've been dying to learn how to do this. Thank you, Thank you!!! I did have to modify the code at the bottom because the first time I just cut & pasted it as you had it (after taking out the spaces) and it wouldn't post because of errors.
Now how do I widen my background so the edges don't make my text hard to read?
Thanks for the feedback! I've changed the post to reflect that. Because of the HTML coding, Blogger wouldn't show the entire code, so I've given alternate directions!
Now for the background question...This is the kind of conundrum that started me on making my own backgrounds, none of the pre-fab sites fit my size! Since I've learned to make my own, there are sites that cater to wider blogs!
Check out The Cutest Blog on the Block and under backgrounds, select 3 Column as your topic.
I'm not sure on the width of these, but you will probably have to re-adjust the width of your Outer Wrapper and columns to fit.
(I've seen the width for larger backgrounds set at 750px, but this could vary.)
If you want to make your own, I do have a tutorial on that.
